St.Joseph encountered and ministered to Jesus in ordinary ways - in carpentry, family meals, long journeys, and prayer. Through his silent devotion, we see that faith does not require spectacle. It requires trust. Centuries later, St.Thérèse would call this the “Little Way.” She did not seek extraordinary signs or grand achievements. She found holiness in small sacrifices and daily fidelity. Like St.Joseph, she understood that greatness in God’s kingdom often looks small to the world. Together they teach the same truth - God’s glory is not only revealed in shining moments, but hidden in ordinary love. Most of our lives are not lived in dazzling light. They are lived in quiet faithfulness and that is enough. The same Christ who shone on the mountain waits for us in the small, unnoticed places of our lives.
