Larch Madness

The Enchantments hike is a legendary thru hike in the Pacific Northwest. Equally legendary are these elusive trees-found only at high altitudes and turning a bright gold for a few weeks each year. Larch madness was something I knew all too well as the hunt for these trees inspired many of my own fall hikes.
