Le Negresco

Nothing quite as iconic as the Negresco hotel on the Promenade des Anglais. The unique architecture and grandeur of it all really caught my eye one day-so much so that I decided to precariously setup my tripod and palette on a rather small median to capture the light and get a quick sketch at sunrise. 

All paintings from this plein air study are 9in x 12in and unframed. Most were painted on oil paper, but some on canvas boards, and all will be signed and varnished.
