Lunchtime in Nice

Wishing I did a full mini-series on the carbs from this trip but for now just an ode to these incredible sandwiches will have to do. Whether it was a pan bagnat, jambon beurre, or some semblance of a caprese, these sandwiches were a staple during my time in Nice. Here's to finding more inspiration in the simplicity of French cuisine!

All paintings from this plein air study are 9in x 12in and unframed. Most were painted on oil paper, but some on canvas boards, and all will be signed and varnished.
