Prodigal Son

This icon was written for the parish bazaar's art gallery at @stlaurenceparish! Fr.Drew's theme for this year was "Hold Us in Your Mercy" and the prodigal son really represents that boundless mercy and forgiveness. Just as the father runs out to embrace his lost son, God reaches out to embrace us when we repent and turn to Him. We all need that redemption and reconciliation.
